Algorithm 1: CEA-CDI
Input: initial channel estimation H(0), received data symbol Yd, constellation symbol Xi
Output: the channel estimation after CEA-CDI
Step:
1) Soft decision of Yd: According to (21), calculate the soft decision information of Yd;
2) Pilot extension: Combining the pilot symbol and to form an extended pilot, then according to (20), calculate the p + 1 round EM iteration result ;
3) Time-domain truncation: According to (22), truncate based on channel length in the time domain, get p + 1 round final result H(p+1);
4) Determine if the gap between H(p + 1) and H(p) is small enough, i.e.H(p + 1) − H(p) <  δ. If satisfied, stop the iteration; Otherwise, repeat step (2) to (4).
